BABYBRACE was specifically designed to:

1. Improve the COG changes that cause LBP;

  • Create an under-belly lift
  • Eliminate the ability to produce excessive forces (Typical with standard pulley systems and LSOs)

2. Adjust to patient (size & shape) changes

  • Adjustments arms can be placed in multiple positions
  • Will have an extender to help with the extreme cases where they grow out of the brace

3. Adapt to body habitus variations during pregnancy

4. Provide modularity for post-natal use

  • Gestational back pain can be felt months following the delivery

6. Be covered by insurance (including Medicaid)

5. Be custom fit specific to each patient to maximize comfort with instructions

Technical Info

During pregnancy underbelly support is necessary to correct the changes in the center of gravity. BabyBrace is an adjustable support that functions like “comforting hands” under the belly. These comfortable hands are adjustable so the patient can customize the fit and individualize the amount to support the brace.
